asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what is the cause of the delay in dividing the remainder of the Lawless estate at Dangan, Celbridge, County Kildare.

It is not considered likely that the balance of the Lawless estate at Dangan will be divided before the end of the present year. There will be no avoidable delay.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress has been made in the acquisition of the More O'Ferrall estate, at Cadamstown, Moyvalley, County Kildare, and whether he is in a position to state when the lands will be divided.

On 2nd January, 1940, the Land Commission acquired the following lands of Mr. More O'Ferrall (Record No. S. 40781):—

Cadamstown

7p.

Ballina

Of this area, all but 100a. or. 22p. has been divided. It is not possible to state when the balance of the lands will be allotted.

The Land Commission also acquired the following lands from Mr. More O'Ferrall (Record No. S. 407811):—

184a. 1r. Op.

Cadamstown

195a. 2r. Op.

Ballina

208a. or. Op.

Kilmore

587a. 3r. Op.

Of this latter estate, 273a. Or. 25p. were divided this month, leaving 314a. 2r. 15p. of bog, cutaway, etc., still on hands for disposal.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission propose to divide the remainder of the Alasty estate, at Kill, County Kildare.

The Land Commission are not in a position to state when the remainder of the lands of Alasty, formerly in the occupation of the Minister and Leinster Bank, will be divided.
