Vol. 93 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supplies of Timber in County Cork.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is yet in a position to communicate a decision on the representations which have been made to him to make supplies of timber from Moore Park Estate, Kilworth, County Cork, available to needy persons at Kilworth.

Further supplies of timber for use as firewood will not be made available from Moore Park this season. The felling of timber at Moore Park for this purpose has already been permitted on an excessive scale and the consent of the Forestry Division of the Department of Lands has not been obtained for any further felling.
