Vol. 93 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Remission of Fines.

asked the Minister for Justice whether he will state for each of those cases where he granted a remission of a fine imposed by a district justice for a breach of the Emergency Powers Orders and where such remission amounted to both the sum of at least £10 and four-fifths of such fine so imposed, the name and address of the defendant, the nature of the offence, the amount of the fine imposed, the amount remitted, and the date of such remission.

The compilation of the statistics required could not be completed in time to answer the question to-day, but if the Deputy will repeat the question in a fortnight's time I hope to be in a position to give him the information he requires.
