As regards the latest figures of the indebtedness of State and local authorities, I would prefer not to anticipate such information as may be given in the Budget statement to-morrow, and in the tables which will be circulated in connection with it. For particulars of earlier years, I would refer the Deputy to previous Budget statements and to the official published statistics.
