Vol. 93 No. 12

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Wheat Offals.

asked the Minister for Supplies if, in view of the present price of wheat offals of £18 10s. per ton he will fix a maximum price not greater than £12 10s. per ton so as to encourage the production of bacon and of eggs, as the present price of £18 10s. is much more than producers are prepared to pay.

The prices of wheat offals have recently been under review in consultation with other Departments concerned and an announcement on the subject will be made shortly.
