Vol. 93 No. 14

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Farm Improvement Scheme Extension.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider extending the Farm Improvement Scheme over the whole year, as it is the opinion that more work, such as drainage, improvements to farm yards, flooring, etc., can be carried out between spring and harvest time.

The considerations mentioned in the question have not been lost sight of. They will be given due weight when the future of the Farm Improvements Scheme is being considered at the next review of the scheme.
