Vol. 94 No. 8

Committee on Finance. - Adjournment of Dáil for Summer Recess.

Acting-Chairman

The Dáil will now adjourn until 10.30 a.m., on Tuesday, 12th September.

Is that the date that was agreed upon?

That date has not been agreed upon, but I understand the Government have made up their minds that the Dáil shall meet on 12th September.

I thought it was 19th September.

I also understood it was the 19th September.

If the Tánaiste says the 19th September, we will agree to it.

Let us get clear on this matter. I think it is far from reasonable to ask the House to meet at 10.30 a.m. The hour of meeting ought to be 3 p.m.

What date does the Deputy suggest?

I suggest the 19th September, but I would advise the Minister to be careful and to watch his step. Some of his colleagues may have something to say on the matter.

I think I will agree with the Deputy—let us say the 19th September.

Good enough.

The Dáil adjourned at 6.33 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, 19th September.
