Vol. 95 No. 8

Ceisteanna. — Questions. Oral Answers. - Connemara Transport Problems.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has received complaints about high freight charges in Connemara, and also of inadequate transport facilities for the live-stock trade in the same area; whether he has made inquiry concerning them, and, if so, with what result.

The freight charges in Connemara are the ordinary scale of road charges applicable throughout the country. I have received no complaints in regard to inadequate transport facilities for live stock in that area.
