The Labourers Act, 1936, provided for the making of purchase schemes for labourers' cottages which are situated in county health districts. There is, therefore, no statutory power to include in such schemes cottages which were originally provided under the Labourers Acts code but which were transferred to an urban authority by reason of the extension of its boundaries prior to the passing of the 1936 Act.
