Vol. 95 No. 8

Ceisteanna. — Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Milk.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has fixed the price to be paid for milk to be supplied to creameries during the coming season, i.e., after 30th April, 1945; and, if so, if he will state what that price will be so that, in the meantime, farmers may be in a position to make suitable arrangements for the care and management of their dairy herds.

The prices to be paid for milk supplied to creameries during the coming season, beginning on 1st April, 1945, will be the same as those in operation during the current season, viz., 10½d. per gallon for the period from 1st April to 30th November, and 1/- per gallon for the period from 1st December to 31st March.
