Vol. 95 No. 8

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business on the Order Paper in the following order: Nos. 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 2, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12. If not already reached, it is proposed to take No. 11, the Arterial Drainage Bill, at 7 o'clock. We do not propose to give time for Private Deputies' Business.

The Votes have not been circulated.

Leave to introduce only is being sought. The Estimates are not being taken to-day. At seven o'clock No. 11 on the Order Paper—Arterial Drainage Bill—will be taken, if it has not been reached before that hour.

Is it the intention that the House will sit to-morrow?

So I understand.

Will the House meet on Friday?

That, I cannot say.

As regards sitting on Friday, it will depend on the course of business. If the business is concluded by to-morrow, we may not sit on Friday.

Is there any possibility that the business may be concluded this evening?

That is unlikely.

Will the Dáil meet next week?

That depends on the progress made with the business before the House. It might be better if we were to leave the matter over until to-morrow.

As regards the Mental Treatment Bill, I take it you are not anxious to dispose of that before the Dáil rises for the Christmas Recess?

Only the Second Stage, I understand.
