Question declared carried.

They were almost unanimous.

Deputy Larkin will now withdraw from the House.

You can claim credit for another execution, even though it is a small one.

Deputy Larkin withdrew.

I insist on the right to raise this matter on the Adjournment. I know that Kerins did not get a fair trial.

Deputy Finucane should resume his seat.

I insist——

On a matter which cannot be discussed?

I demand——

The Deputy seems to demand his own suspension.

I demand——

The Deputy is quite out of order.

I will not resume my seat.

Then I am constrained to name the Deputy unless he withdraws at once.

I will not withdraw.

Then I name the Deputy.

Well, I will not withdraw. I know he did not get a fair trial.

He is not the first innocent man who was hanged.

I move:—

That Deputy Finucane be suspended from the service of the Dáil.

Tellers:— Tá, Deputies Kissane and O Briain; Níl: Deputies Blowick and Donnellan.
Question declared carried.

Deputy Finucane will now withdraw from the House.

There will be another day. I challenge any of the Fianna Fáil Deputies to stand on the Kerins case in Kerry.

Deputy Finucane withdrew.

I agree with the man who has left the House. I know I will get plenty of interruptions from the Fianna Fáil Benches, but we are entitled to move this matter on the Adjournment to-night.

The Deputy has no right to intervene now.

I stated last night, and I still state, that this young person did not get a fair trial.

That is quite disorderly.

This man is lying in Mountjoy awaiting execution in the morning. We have no one to blame only the Taoiseach. I can certainly say the Taoiseach or any of his Ministers will not be too willing to address a meeting in Kerry in the near future.

You can take it any way you like.

We shall see.

I move:—

That Deputy Spring be suspended from the service of the Dáil.

Tellers:—Tá: Deputies Kissane and O Briain; Níl: Deputies Everett and Pattison.
Question declared carried.

Deputy Spring is suspended from the service of the Dáil and will now leave the House.

I am leaving the House through a coalition vote between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.

By a decision of the House.

Fine Gael has 77 murders in Kerry and Fianna Fáil has now nearly as many.

It is the decision of the House.

Deputy Spring withdrew.
