Vol. 96 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Egg Exports.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is now in a position to state (a) the price paid for eggs, exported during the months of October, November and December last, by the British Ministry of Food, and (b) the amount of the turkey levy fund that was required to subsidise these exports (if any).

I would refer the Deputy to my reply of 24th January last to his question in this matter. The price to be ultimately received for eggs exported during the year ended 31st January, 1945, has not yet been determined.

Would the Minister say when the figure will be available?

I could not say. In a month or so.
