Vol. 96 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Military Service Pensions Claimants.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why a copy of the Referee's report was refused to Mr. John W. O'Shea, solicitor, Killarney, in respect of a number of applications for military service pensions, although a promise was made that copies of it would be supplied in January; and if he is aware that the failure to supply copies of the report, as promised, has prevented the men concerned from obtaining conditional orders before the 1st February, 1945.

Mr. John W. O'Shea was not refused copies of the reports of the Referee in the case of a number of applicants for military service pensions. On the 27th January, 1945, Mr. O'Shea was informed that the copies required by him were in course of preparation and would be forwarded at the earliest possible date. According as the copy reports are completed, they are being issued to Mr. O'Shea.
