Vol. 96 No. 24

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Street Barricades.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that considerable inconvenience is caused in the cities and provincial towns as a result of the existence of barricades on the streets; and, if so, if he will state if he will have those obstructions removed at an early date as the necessity for them appears to exist no longer.

A limited number of military engineers has been engaged for the past couple of months in removing these obstructions. It is hoped that this work will have been completed by the end of May.
