Vol. 97 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supply of Penicillin to Hospitals.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can give an assurance that every hospital in Éire is supplied with penicillin; and, if not, if he will make a supply available and accessible day and night to the staffs of hospitals.

Since November last a scheme has been in operation whereby hospitals have available for use or may obtain penicillin from the Medical Research Council for the treatment of patients where the use of the drug is shown to be essential.
