Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Issue of Travel Permits.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will state the number of permits issued in (a) April, 1945, (b) May, 1945, and (c) to the latest date in June, 1945, to persons travelling to Great Britain and to the Six Counties of Ireland for the purpose of taking up employment.

The number of travel permits issued in the months in question to persons going to Great Britain and the Six Counties for the apparent purpose of taking up employment are as follows:—

April, 1945

(c)

June, 1945

2,110

The figure for June is for the whole month.
