Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Auxiliary Postmen.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the number of auxiliary postmen employed for not more than 18 hours per week, 21 hours per week, 24 hours per week, 27 hours per week, 30 hours per week, and 33 hours and over, per week.

As the answer contains detailed statistics it will be circulated to the Deputy and published in the Official Reports.

The information desired as regards the weekly attendance of auxiliary postmen is as follows:—

88 are employed for not more than 18 hours a week; 432 are employed between 18 and 21 hours a week; 513 are employed between 21 and 24 hours a week; 495 are employed between 24 and 27 hours a week; 555 are employed between 27 and 30 hours a week; 609 are employed between 30 and 33 hours a week; 134 are employed over 33 hours per week.
