asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware of the increasing number of demands made on employers for annual holidays with pay, in excess of the period now statutorily granted; and, in view of the fact that these demands have, in every case, been backed up by strike action causing grave dislocation in the vital food supplies of the people, if he will make a statement regarding his policy on the issues involved.
