Vol. 98 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Leix Workers.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state if an application for bonus has been made to his Department by the trade union on behalf of the workers employed by Messrs. Walsh, contractors, Dublin, in their factory at Mountmellick, County Leix; and, if so, if he will make a bonus Order for the workers concerned as soon as possible.

No application of the nature indicated in the question has been received in my Department.

Does the Minister say that no application was sent by the local trade union on behalf of the workers concerned?

There is no record of such an application being received by the Department.

If I furnish the Minister with full details in connection with this matter, will he examine them?

Certainly.
