Vol. 98 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyraggett Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state if his attention has been directed to the water supply system contemplated for the new cottages at Ballyraggett and the town of Ballyraggett, County Kilkenny; and if he intends to ensure that an up-to-date water system is provided for the cottages and the town.

Plans for the provision of a water supply scheme for the town of Ballyraggett — which will include provision for a labourers' cottage scheme erected in 1940 — have been received in my Department. Certain modifications and alterations were suggested to the local authority in Februray, 1945. Subsequently the services of a consultant were engaged by the local authority and it is understood that revised documents are ready for submission to my Department.
