As indicated by my predecessor on 28th June, 1944, in the debate on the Estimate for the Office of the Minister for Finance progress on this actuarial examination has been interrupted by emergency requirements. It has not yet been found possible to resume work on the actual investigation which must necessarily be somewhat protracted. The question of publication cannot obviously be considered until the completed report has been fully examined.
Will the Minister say whether the actuarial examination has been resumed?

Is it intended to resume it at an early date?
It is, as soon as possible.
