The following is the reply to the Deputy's question:—

(a) No moneys have been paid to the board out of State Funds. (b) The following are members of the board, appointed by me in accordance with Emergency Powers (No. 247) Order, 1942; Chairman: Mr. M.J. Mullally, appointed 26th January, 1943; salary, £700 per annum, inclusive. Members: Messrs. J.H. Breen and P. Harnett, M.R.C.V.S., appointed 21st December, 1942; allowance, £100 per annum, each. (c) Messrs. (d) The chairman is a whole-time officer. The holding of directorships by civil servants is governed by the regulations made by the Minister for Finance. (e) The answer is in the negative.
