Vol. 99 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dungarvan-Youghal Bus Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will arrange to have bus services provided on three days a week from Dungarvan to Youghal, via Aglish and Clashmore, thereby giving a much-needed service to the people of these areas.

A service between Dungarvan and Youghal via Aglish and Clashmore was operated on a small scale until the end of 1942 when it was discontinued by the owner. There has been no application for the restoration of the licence. Córas Iompair Éireann are as yet unable to restore fully services operated by them prior to the emergency and have no vehicles available for the introduction of a new service.
