Vol. 101 No. 8

Committee on Finance. - Vote 57—Children's Allowances.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £1,463,950 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1947, for Children's Allowances and for Salaries and Expenses in connection therewith (No. 2 of 1944)."

Has the Minister anything to say about this Vote?

I assumed that we were discussing all these matters on the main Vote. There is nothing new to be said in relation to children's allowances, anyhow.

Vote put and agreed to.
