Vol. 101 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Durrow Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will now state the reasons for the delay in carrying out the sewerage scheme for Durrow, Laoighis; and if the matter is now completed as far as [1028] the granting of the approval of his Department for the carrying out of the scheme without delay is concerned.

Proposals for a sewerage scheme for Durrow were submitted to the Department on the 13th March last. Following on an inspection and an examination of the proposals, the plans were returned to the local authority for revision on the 30th April.

Am I to understand that as far as the Department is concerned there is no hold-up of the scheme at present?

There never has been.
