Club, an application for a lease of the playing pitch attached to the old military barracks at Buttevant; whether the application has received consideration; and, if so, whether he will state what is the cause of the considerable delay in replying to it.

An application by the club for a lease of the playing pitch at present occupied by them on a yearly tenancy was received by the Commissioners of Public Works through the Department of Defence on 24th May, 1946. It is hoped that the commissioners will shortly be in a position to communicate a proposal to the club.
