Vol. 101 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Supply for Dublin Houses.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state whether a number of houses on Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin, some of them owned by the Dublin Corporation, are still without water supply or sewerage; and whether, in the interests of the public health, he will cause this unsatisfactory state of affairs to be investigated and the work of providing these services to be put in hands without delay.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. A scheme for the installation of sanitary facilities in the cottages owned by the Dublin Corporation in Blackhorse Avenue has been made by the corporation. Survey plans have been completed and working drawings are in course of preparation.
