Vol. 102 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - O'Dowd Estate (Mayo).

asked the Minister for Lands if he will now proceed with the final rearrangement and settlement of the O'Dowd estate, Louisburgh, County Mayo; and if not, if he will state the reasons for the continued delay in bringing this matter to finality.

The O'Dowd estate, comprising 104 holdings of tenanted land, is in the list for preliminary survey preparatory to the formulation of proposals for resale of the lands. The shortage of surveyor staff, which it is hoped to remedy in the near future, has rendered delay unavoidable, but the survey will be put in hands as early as possible.
