Vol. 102 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flooding by County Dublin River.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the Matt River at Balrothery, Balbriggan, has caused considerable damage to crops belonging to land owners who have land along this river; and if he will be prepared to take steps to have this river cleaned with a view to preventing flooding of the land in future after heavy rain.

There is no likelihood of a drainage scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, being prepared for the Matt River.
