Air Navigation and Transport Bill, 1946—Financial Resolution.

I move:

(1) That there shall be charged, levied and paid in respect of the grant or renewal of any certificate or licence or otherwise for the purposes of any Order made under statutory authority enabling effect to be given to, or applying, the Chicago Convention or for the purposes of the Chicago Convention such fees as may be prescribed by Order made under statutory authority.

(2) That all fees charged and levied by virtue of this Resolution shall be collected and taken in such manner as the Minister for Finance shall from time to time direct and shall be paid into or disposed of for the benefit of the Exchequer in accordance with the directions of the said Minister.

(3) That in this Resolution the expression "the Chicago Convention" means the Convention on International Civil Aviation opened for signature at Chicago on the 7th day of December, 1944.
