Vol. 102 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity—Installation Charges.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is satisfied with the present installation charges of the Electricity Supply Board; and if not, if he will make representations to the board to reduce these charges.

The matter of installation charges made by the Electricity Supply Board is one entirely for the board. I may add that the Electricity Supply Board has no monopoly in this work and potential consumers are free to avail of private contractors if they so desire.
