Vol. 102 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase of County Cork Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the amount of money expended in the transfer and amount paid to the owner of Iland Wood, near Newmarket, County Cork, by his Department in the recent purchase agreement.

It is not the practice to state the amounts paid to persons for lands purchased for purposes of State afforestation. There were no expenses incurred, in addition to the purchase money, in the transfer of the Island Wood property to my Department.
