Vol. 103 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compulsory Wheat Growing.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if it is proposed to relax the operation of the Order for compulsory wheat growing in areas where the yield of wheat has proved unsatisfactory during the past three years.

It is not likely that there will be any alteration in the tillage regulations for 1947 regarding the proportion of arable land which must be sown with wheat in each of the three districts specified in the current and previous Orders.

"Grow More Wheat"— on my neighbour's land.
