asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state in respect of each county, county borough, urban district, and town with town commissioners: (1) the number of new houses approved under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Acts, 1932-1946, for which permission was granted to local authorities since the 1st April, 1944; (2) the number of these for which contracts have already been received and approved; (3) the number of houses (a) completed, (b) in process of completion, and (c) not yet commenced.
