(a) The present daily rates of pay of non-commissioned officers and privates, excluding those enlisted for service in the Construction Corps are as follows:—

In addition to these rates an increment of pay at the rate of 6d. a day may be awarded to a non-commissioned officer or private who has completed five years' reckonable service, and a second increment of 6d. a day may be awarded on the completion of ten years' reckonable service.
The present daily rates of pay of non-commissioned officers and privates enlisted for service in the Construction Corps are:—

(b) The value of the allowances (in cash and in kind) to which non-commissioned officers and men are entitled is estimated at £1 5s. 9d. a week, exclusive of marriage allowance where payable.
