Vol. 104 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Millers' Coal Supplies.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the need for producing increased quantities of oatmeal for human consumption to supplement the bread ration, he will make additional supplies of coal available to commission millers.

Where it is established that coal is necessary for the kilndrying of oats intended for human consumption allowances are provided in relation to the quantities to be dried by individual applicants, including commission millers. I do not consider that a revision of this arrangement is required.
