Vol. 104 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Letting of Lucan Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state if there is a holding of about ten acres, near Lucan, County Dublin, which was originally allocated to a person named Swan; whether the Land Commission have been setting these lands for a number of years past; and also, the reasons why this holding has not been allocated to an uneconomic holder in the district.

The Deputy appears to have in mind an allotment in the townland of Allenswood of which the Land Commission obtained possession last May. Owing to the lateness of the season, the lands were then let in grazing. Arrangements are on hand for the allocation of the lands and there will be no avoidable delay.
