asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the average weekly production of coal, from each of the Irish collieries, during the year ended in February, 1946.
Written Answers. - Coal Production.
Figures relating to coal production submitted to my Department by individual coal producers are confidential and I cannot, therefore, give the Deputy the information sought. I can, however, say that during the year ended 28th February, 1946, the average weekly output of anthracite coal from all mines was 2,509 tons, and the average weekly output of all other types of coal amounted to 1,591 tons.
