Vol. 105 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Mayo Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress has been made in the division of the Irwin estate (record No. U.13218, County Mayo); if he is aware that this is a non-residential holding, the division of which is urgently necessary to relieve local congestion; and also, if he is aware that the present owner is unable to comply with the Tillage Order and is endeavouring to have the quota completed by conacre lettings, but has not succeeded in making sufficient lettings to secure this end.

Proceedings are about to be instituted by the Land Commission for the acquisition of the lands at Leveelick containing 66 acres, formerly the property of Edward Irwin, deceased. There will be no avoidable delay.
