Vol. 105 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Hollymount Holdings (Mayo).

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that Messrs. Fitzpatrick and Ryan are in possession of approximately 80 acres of land at Carras, Hollymount, County Mayo; further, that these men are willing to surrender this land to the Irish Land Commission provided they are given alternative holdings of land in the Midlands; and if he will take steps to have the whole matter investigated.

I presume the Deputy is referring to certain lands in the townland of Carrowmore held by Messrs. James Joseph Ryan and Andrew Fitzpatrick. The Land Commission do not appear to have received any application from these persons to be considered for migration. If such application is made it will be considered in the ordinary way.
