Vol. 105 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Call Office (Curragh).

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is now in a position to indicate when the proposed public call office will be provided at Suncroft, Curragh Camp, County Kildare.

It had been intended, as I intimated to the Deputy on the 4th December last, to provide a public telephone call office at Suncroft post office in the early months of this year. Owing, however, to the volume of urgent repair work arising out of the snowstorms in February and March, it has been necessary to defer the installation and it will probably not be completed for some time.

What does "some time" mean?

I hope by the end of this year.
