Whilst the manuscript tables of the Statistical Abstract, 1946, were sent for printing at the usual time—July-August—there has been considerable delay in obtaining printers' proofs, presumably because of pressure on printing facilities. Every effort is being made to expedite the printing processes but it is improbable that the Statistical Abstract for 1946 will be issued before the end of June, 1947.
Will the Minister say to what extent is printing for the Oireachtas held up by the fact that printing is being done for outside countries?
I would require notice of that question.
