The only area transferred from the turf area to the non-turf area since 1st October, 1945, is the Urban District of Dungarvan.
Does the Minister contemplate the transfer to the non-turf area of any other urban districts?
Some time ago the people of Dungarvan pressed very strongly to be transferred. At that time everybody wanted to get out of the non-turf area and to get into the turf area. The difference in the price, as Deputies have already mentioned, should be considered. If the people of Cobh were to consult the people of Dungarvan they might learn that there are disadvantages in being in the non-turf area also.
