Vol. 108 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grants for Erection of Farm-Houses.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, in view of the greatly increased cost of building materials, it is his intention to introduce legislation increasing the maximum grants provided for the erection and reconstruction of farm-houses, and also for providing that such grants will be available to farmers whose valuations exceed £25.

The Housing (Amendment) Bill, 1947, which I hope to circulate at an early date will include provisions relating to State grants for housing.
