Vol. 108 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Afforestation in County Wexford.

Mr. Corish

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state which, if any, of the areas in County Wexford, referred to by him on 8th May, 1946, have been acquired, to date, for afforestation purposes.

Mr. Boland

Of the areas referred to in my reply to the Deputy on the 8th May, 1946, two, comprising a total of 61 acres in the townlands of Ballybeg and Coolgarrow, have actually been taken over. In the case of the other areas for the purchase of which agreement had been reached, the legal formalities have not been completed.
