asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state, for each of the years 1946 and 1947, the monthly average of timber imports, distinguishing between soft woods, hard woods and plywood.

The monthly average quantities of timber imported during the year 1946 and the period January-July, 1947, were as follows:—
