Vol. 108 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Millers' Fuel Requirements.

Mr. Corish

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will grant an allocation of anthracite or coke to millers requiring it for the purpose of drying wheat.

Permits to purchase anthracite on the basis of the quantity of wheat to be dried are granted to millers who process wheat for resale. In the continuing difficulties of the anthracite and coke supply position, allowances of these fuels cannot be made for the drying of wheat to be milled on commission.
