Vol. 108 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fencing of Baldonnel Aerodrome.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that the claim submitted by Mr. Thomas Hawe, Baldonnel, County Dublin, has not yet been adjusted; also, that the fencing between Mr. Hawe's lands and the aerodrome is still in need of repair; and if so, if he will have these matters completed forthwith.

An offer of a sum as compensation in respect of trespass and damage has been made to Mr. Hawe through his solicitor. I am not aware that the fence between Mr. Hawe's land and the aerodrome needs repair. Some months ago a new boundary fence was completed and a recent joint inspection by Mr. Hawe with this Department's representative failed to disclose any breach therein.
