Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Companies' Head Offices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of public and private companies operating in the State whose head offices are situate outside the State.

Every company incorporated outside the State which establishes a place of business within the State is required to file with the Registrar of Companies certain particulars under the Companies Acts.

The number of such companies which have filed the necessary particulars and which now have places of business here is, according to the registrar's records, as follows:—
